2nd Reminder Letter
Hopefully all is progressing well on the projects. This is just a small timeline update. The kids should already have their three sources of information (this is a minimum and they may have more). If not, this needs to be done right away. We are planning to begin the speeches in the next few days.
They should also start working on their costumes. Students should resemble their person as closely as possible. In the past, parents have searched Goodwill type stores, asked relatives, checked with neighbors and friends, or had someone sew parts (or all) of the costume.
I would also like to clarify information about the poster boards, most of the ones I have seen are 36 inches by 48 inches. The posters need to be able to stand upright on their own. These can be purchased at Walmart or any office supply store. There are a few examples of finished posters from previous years on the class website (www.gtes4.weebly.com). If you have any questions, please let me know.
Thanks!
